Great Panther Mining (TSE:GPR) (NYSEAMERICAN:GPL) CEO Rob Henderson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news that due to heavy rains, some wall movements had been detected in the west wall of the south-central portion of the Urucum Central South open pit at Tucano. That has led to the company halting operations there.
Henderson told Proactive that the company is hoping to have it back in operation for the third quarter of this year. The mill will continue to receive ore from the Urucum North open pit and from stockpiles.
