Silver Mines thanks resigning director Peter Langworthy for "enormous contribution"

Langworthy will remain as chairman of his private consultancy business and will continue to be a shareholder in Silver Mines.

Silver Mines Ltd (ASX:SVL) (OTCMKTS:SLVMF) has thanked non-executive director Peter Langworthy for his contribution to the company after his resignation from the board.

Langworthy’s resignation follows his decision to step down from all public company positions, including as Gateway Mining Ltd’s (ASX:GML) executive chairman, to allow him to focus on his private business interests and spend more time with his family.

“Enormous contribution”

Silver Mines managing director Anthony McClure said: “I would like to acknowledge the enormous contribution that Peter has made to Silver Mines.

“On behalf of the board and shareholders of Silver Mines, I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his outstanding contribution.”

The company will not be replacing Langworthy’s role as non-executive director at this time.
