White Rock Minerals Ltd (ASX:WRM) (OTCMKTS:WRMCF) has the diamond drill spinning at Dry Creek silver-rich zinc VMS deposit within the Red Mountain Project in a mineral-rich region of Alaska.
The first of three diamond rigs has been set up on its drill pad and started drilling to test the down-dip potential at Dry Creek within the prolific Tintina Gold Province.
Seven drill holes for 3,800 metres are planned to test at nominal 200-metre step-out positions along the full 1,200 metres of strike length.
Two high-grade VMS deposits
Dry Creek makes up one of the company's two high-grade silver-rich zinc VMS JORC deposits, with resources of 9 million tonnes at 609 g/t silver equivalent or 13% zinc equivalent.
A further two diamond drill rigs are scheduled to begin drilling next month with one rig to test new VMS targets at Red Mountain and Last Chance and the other testing the large Last Chance gold target first identified and drilled in 2020.
Shares have been as much as 6.4% higher intra-day to A$0.585.

10,000 metres planned
Altogether, the company plans to complete more than 10,000 metres of diamond drilling this field season across its 800 square kilometre land package that makes up its Red Mountain Project.
The company is exploring for Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) mineralisation and high-grade silver-zinc-gold-lead volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits.
