Sunrise Resources PLC (LON:SRES) lost £185,955 during the six months to 31 March 2021, marginally more than the £151,378 loss booked for the comparable period a year earlier.
Administration costs rang in at £165,581, while expensed pre-licence exploration costs totalled £12,985.
Project expenditure of £247,797 was capitalised.
During the period the company continued to work on its flagship CS Pozzolan-Perlite project in Nevada, from which a 500-ton pozzolan sample was extracted in collaboration with a large cement and ready-mix company.
A test grind of the bulk sample was completed successfully and commercial concrete pours, using Sunrise’s product, are currently being organised.
The company also pressed ahead with work on the perlite, and also at the Clayton silver-gold and the Sundance gold projects, also in Nevada.
