Apollon Formularies PLC (LON:APOL) Chairman and CEO Dr Stephen Barnhill, who also serves at Chairman at Aion Therapeutic Inc (CSE:AION) tells Proactive a combined formulation of its medicinal mushrooms and a medical cannabis treatment developed by the two groups have been effective at killing HER2+ breast cancer cells.
Dr Barnhill says the medicinal mushroom formulations were developed by Aion’s subsidiary AI Pharmaceuticals Jamaica Limited, while the medical cannabis formulations were developed by Apollon's affiliate, Apollon Formularies (AQSE:APOL) Jamaica Limited. He belives the group can begin treating patients in Jamaica imminently.
