CNS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNSP) CEO John Climaco tells Proactive the Houston, Texas-based biopharmaceutical company has begun enrollment for its Phase 2 clinical study to evaluate efficacy and safety of its flagship drug Berubicin, the first anthracycline to cross the blood-brain barrier, to treat glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Climaco says the group intends to enroll around 240 subjects across 60 centers. It also plans to expand the trial into Poland with its partner WPD Pharmaceuticals.
