Clean Air Metals reveals promising new intercepts from Escape Lake deposit on its Thunder Bay North polymetallic project

All holes intersected mineralization and are expected to add to a future mineral resource update at the Ontario-based project

Clean Air Metals Inc (CVE:AIR) (OTCQB:CLRMF) (FRA:CKU) revealed new assay results from an ongoing drill program at the Escape Lake deposit on its Thunder Bay North project in Ontario.

Drilling intersected 31 metres (m) of 0.96 grams per ton (g/t) palladium, 0.81 g/t platinum, 0.36% copper and 0.21% nickel in one hole, and 7.7m of 1.61 g/t palladium, 1.30 g/t platinum, 0.59% copper and 0.38% nickel in another.

A third hole intersected 4.0 m of 1.29g/t palladium, 1.14 g/t platinum, 0.49% copper and 0.25% nickel. All intersections were from an area between the Escape South High Grade Zone and the Steepledge North Zone.

Escape Lake has an overall Indicated mineral resource of 505,369 ounces at 3.67 g/t palladium equivalent in 4,286,220 tonnes. The deposit is geologically open along trend between the Escape South and the Steepledge South resource areas.

"We are happy to report that all holes intersected mineralization and are expected to add materially to a future mineral resource update at the Escape Lake deposit,” Clean Air CEO Abraham Drost said in a statement.

The Thunder Bay, Ontario-based company is planning to ramp up drilling after promising ultra-low resistivity targets at the base of both the Escape Lake and Current Lake magma conduit deposit systems.
