Deep-South Resources Inc (CVE:DSM) (OTCMKTS:DSMTF) (FRA:DSD) said it has appointed Dr. Patricio Martinez Bellange as a special advisor on bio-assisted leaching and mining.
The company said Martinez previously served as director of hydrometallurgical and biotechnological processes at CodelcoTech, a technological subsidiary of Codelco, the largest copper mining company in the world.

Martinez has also authored five patents related to biotechnology and bio-leaching process technologies and served five research stays in universities in the US, France, and Japan.
