Games Workshop Group PLC (LON:GAW) has forecast profits this year will be more than £150mln, a rise of almost 70% on the previous year.

In a characteristically brief statement, the Warhammer games group said sales for the year to end May 2021 would be not less than £350mln (£270mln in 2019) with pre-tax profit, not less than £150mln (£89mln).

GAW also announced a dividend of 50p per share, taking total dividends in the 2020/21 financial year to 235p (2019/20: 145p).

The FTSE 250 company added it had also paid staff profit share bonuses during the year of £12mln, up from £2mln a year earlier, with amounts paid equally to all staff.
