British Lithium's Andrew Smith joins Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam to discuss their first patent application for their sustainable process to extract lithium from granite.
Smith also says there are 'three more to come', as the firm continues to work on their sustainable way of extracting lithium following three years of research and development.
The company has filed a patent application at the UK Intellectual Property Office for its low-energy, chemical-free process for physically separating the mica in granite that contains lithium.
