Renforth Resources reveals new Parbec intercept of up to 8.73 grams per ton gold

The firm intersected 4.59 g/t gold over 18.75 metres, including 8.73 g/t gold over 7.15 metres outside of the open pit designed for Parbec’s May 2020 resource estimate

Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR) (OTCQB:RFHRF) revealed a new gold intercept from its Parbec project in Quebec’s Malarctic region.

The junior resource company said it had intersected 4.59 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 18.75 metres, including 8.73 g/t gold over 7.15 metres outside of the open pit designed for Parbec’s May 2020 resource estimate.

In a statement, Renforth said that the new mineralization “occurs at a place within the resource model where, prior to the recently completed 15,569m program, there was only one drill hole which was collared further to the north, failing to intersect most of the Cadillac Break.”

The mineralized zone was intersected in a lower drill hole, but was lower grade, Renforth told investors. The company said it interprets this to mean that “the structural zone continues, though the grade varies.”

Mineralization seen at a shallower depth in the lower drill hole may also occur in the one assayed today, Renforth added, but the first 148 metres of PAR-21-127 have not been received.

Results are still pending for another two holes drilled in the area.

Parbec is an open pit constrained gold deposit in Malartic Quebec, contiguous to the highly prolific Canadian Malartic mine.
