Britvic PLC (LON:BVIC) said it is planning to launch new drinks as it looks to build on the share gains in the at-home segment, while the out-of-home channel recovers.
The drinks producer plans to add new flavours, different pack formats and introduce added health benefits, as well as marketing campaigns such as the Pepsi MAX Champions League sponsorship and Wimbledon themed activity for Robinsons in GB.
It will also relaunch energy drink Rockstar and integrate Plenish, a plant-based drinks manufacturer acquired earlier this month.
In the six months ended 31 March, revenue shed 6% to £617mln, while adjusted underlying earnings (EBIT) were down 15% to £60mln.
Pandemic restrictions heavily impacted performance in the hospitality sector and on-the-go consumption, while the at-home channel recorded strong growth.
The FTSE 250 group reinstated the interim dividend at 6.5p per share.
Shares rose 5% to 962.75p on Tuesday at the opening bell.
