Sativa Wellness Group Inc (LON:SWEL) appointed Marc Howells as its new chief executive with Geremy Thomas, who was interim CEO, continuing in his role as executive chairman.
Howells has operated across eleven countries, building businesses, with three of these in China building a consumer finance business. He aims to deliver the company’s strategy to become one of the best-known wellness brands.
His career experience includes integrations, M&A, restructuring and scaling start-ups, which the CBD company said will provide significant additional strategic and development strength at the board level.
His career includes senior roles in Citibank and Barclaycard before heading up a number of SME financial services companies as chief executive or managing director.
