Boadicea Resources granted trading halt ahead of capital raising announcement

Securities will remain halted until Wednesday, May 19, or when an announcement is released to the market.

Boadicea Resources Ltd (ASX:BOA) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending a capital raising announcement.

The securities will remain halted until the start of normal trading on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, or until an announcement is released to the market.

Appointed non-executive director

Earlier this month, the company appointed experienced geologist Graeme Purcell to the board as a non-executive director.

Purcell is a highly regarded geologist who has been a part of a number of important mineral discoveries within Australia and overseas and has broad experience in a diverse range of mineral systems including gold, base metals and strategic minerals in various geological terranes and jurisdictions.

Complementary skills

Managing director Jon Reynolds said: “Graeme has a long history with Boadicea providing consulting geologist services, and with the company pivoting to exploration activities on its tenements, his skills and attributes complement those already contained within the board.”

Purcell’s national and international experience with major and junior resource companies including Plutonic Resources, Homestake Mining, Barrick Gold and Black Fire Minerals during the past 25 years has seen him deliver mineral discoveries in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania and the USA.
