Aurumin Ltd (ASX:AUN) has received all assays from the recent RC drilling at the Golden Slipper deposit at its 100% owned Mt Dimer Project in Western Australia, which included one of the best unmined results to date.
The company completed 3 RC drill holes for 326.5 metres at Golden Slipper, designed to intercept northerly trending mineralised structures, predominantly along strike and down dip from historical work.
Drilling at Golden Slipper returned:
- 7 metres at 7.55 g/t gold from 86 metres including 1 metre at 30.25 g/t from 91 metres; and
- 5 metres at 2.74 g/t from 56 metres.
Shares in the company have been up as much as 9.65% this morning to 28.5 cents.
“Potentially expands mining footprint”
The drill hole has strongly supported the high-grade shoot interpretation to the north and the company plans to complete additional follow up drilling.
There were no further significant assay results received from the remaining three drill lines testing SAM survey targets.
Aurumin managing director Brad Valiukas said: "This is a great drill result at Golden Slipper, that potentially expands the mining footprint to the north.
“This Golden Slipper result is indicative of what we will now be exploring for along the mineralised structures identified from the SAM survey targets."

The principal focus of the drill program was to test the primary targets generated by the 2020 SAM (ground based sub-audio magnetic) survey.
The program tested 8 of the 13 primary targets, plus one target bordering the SAM survey.
Previously released highlights for testing the SAM survey targets include:
- 4 metres at 3.60 g/t from 95 metres including 1 metre at 9.73 g/t from 95 metres;
- 3 metres at 2.71 g/t from 61 metres including 1 metre at 6.21 g/t from 62 metres; and
- 1 metre at 4.33 g/t from 78 metres.
