Binovi Technologies Corp (OTCQB:BNVIF) (CVE:VISN) has outlined how integrating its acquired VERA and CAVT technologies with its Binovi-Connect platform is aimed at helping US school (K-12) students to improve reading skills.
The combined tech will offer an ecosystem delivering screening, which will enable educators to collaborate with optometrists and provide desired outcomes for students, said the visually-focused tech group.
Through its technology, Binovi will be able to help identify where students might be behind on key vision skills, such as reversing letters or skipping lines.

VERA is a two-part vision screening program designed for school health, occupational therapy, and special education settings, which can identify students with common vision difficulties.
The Computer Aided Vision Therapy (CAVT) is an extensive software package for developing eye tracking skills, visual thinking and processing skills, and binocular vision skills.
"Together, VERA, CAVT, and the Binovi Platform will help identify those in need of visual therapy, help direct them towards the vision care they need, while providing specialists with the tools to best diagnose, treat, train, and track their clients throughout their journey to better vision and reading," said Adam Cegielski, CEO at Binovi in a statement, noting that the impact of 'Big Tech' in classrooms have never been more prevalent.
