Karora Resources Inc (TSE:KRR) (OTCMKTS:KRRGF) (FRA:5RN1) has reported additional drill results from the new Larkin Zone at its Beta Hunt Mine in Australia, which included 7.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 5.8 metres within a zone of 4.2 g/t over 12.2 metres.
“Today's results demonstrate the continued growth of the Larkin Gold discovery which now extends over an interpreted strike length of 650 metres and up to 120 metres down dip, while continuing to remain open along strike and at depth,” Karora Resources CEO Paul Huet said in a statement.
“Results to-date support our view that Larkin has excellent potential to be the third major gold production centre at Beta Hunt in addition to current mining operations in Western Flanks and A Zone,” Huet added.

Karora noted that the drill program is designed to test the Larkin Zone over 1,000 metres of strike and up to 150 metres below the nickel contact, with the results forming part of an infill and step-out drilling program designed to convert the Larkin Zone discovery into Mineral Resources.
The company said resource definition drilling in the Larkin Zone completed through the end of the first quarter now totals 29 holes for 6,720 metres. An additional 22 holes totalling 2,800 metres is expected to be completed in 3Q 2021, which will test the southern extension of Larkin.
It added that a maiden Mineral Resource estimate for the Larkin Zone is planned for inclusion in its 2021 consolidated resource update.
Karora Resources is now a "top tier" junior gold producer in Western Australia having started its transformation - when known as RNC Minerals - with its purchase in 2019 of the Higginsville Gold Operations (HGO).
The group is focused on growing gold production and reducing costs at the integrated Beta Hunt Gold Mine and the Higginsville mine and its associated treatment facility.
At Beta Hunt, a robust gold mineral resource and reserve is hosted in multiple gold shears, with gold intersections along a 4 kilometre strike length remaining open in multiple directions.
