BMEX Gold Inc. (CVE:BMEX) (FRA:8M0) has announced the appointment of Steve Dunlop to the company's Technical advisory board.
Dunlop currently holds the position of General Manager-Canada for KGHM International and is responsible for leading and managing all of its assets, including the Sudbury Operations, both operating and non-operating, as well as Victoria and Ajax Projects. His role entails directing all activities including safety, mining, environmental, and administrative functions while delivering value to the company and protecting stakeholder interests.

In a statement, BMEX Gold president and CEO Warner Uhl commented: "We are pleased to have Steve join our advisory board as his knowledge and experience will be a great asset to the company and we will benefit from his expertise as we advance our projects. Steve will be helping to evaluate potential acquisitions and also help identify key drill targets in our 2021/2022 drill program."
Over the past 18 years, Dunlop has progressed in various roles with Quadra FNX Mining and KGHM, in exploration and mining operations, which included Project Geologist Exploration, Sr. Project Geologist Levack Exploration, Chief Mine Geologist, Sudbury Geosciences and Exploration Manager, Senior Manager Geosciences and Technical Services as well as General Manager for Sudbury Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Geology from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Geology from Laurentian University.
BMEX Gold is a junior Canadian mining exploration company with the primary objective to acquire, explore, and develop viable gold and base metal projects in the mining-friendly jurisdiction of Quebec, Canada.
The company is currently fully focused on earning 100% interest in its two projects, both located in the prolific Abitibi greenstone belt: the King Tut Project consists of 120 contiguous claims on 5,206 hectares, and the Dunlop Bay Project consists of 76 mineral claims that cover 4,226 hectares.
