Bam Bam Resources Corp (CSE:BBR) (OTCPINK:NPEZF) (FRA:4NPB) has welcomed the findings of a property wide drone survey undertaken this year over its flagship Majuba Hill project in Nevada, USA, which showed the size of the potential copper deposit may be bigger than previously thought.
The survey, carried out by Zonge International, collected 196,532 readings on east-west lines spaced 150 meters apart and results were merged with the 2018 ground survey.
The data showed that the "Tertiary Intrusive Assemblage" at Majuba Hill is at least 2.5 times' larger than the geologic mapping indicated, which, said Bam Bam CEO David Greenway was "extremely encouraging".

"We recognized that Majuba Hill had characteristics showing the scale of the intrusive was much larger than was historically known. The widespread copper and the extensive copper-porphyry indicators all gave me confidence as we proceeded with our staged-exploration program. The drone magnetic results confirm our expectations. It is incredibly positive for Bam Bam to be able to operate in a Tier 1 jurisdiction and get these positive results," Greenway added.
The company's Majuba Hill project spans around 15.1 square miles (39.2 square kilometres) and comprises extensive mineral and surface rights.
Between 1907 and 1960, Majuba Hill produced 2.8 million pounds of copper, 184,000 ounces of silver, over 885,000 pounds of lead and 5,800 ounces of lode gold.
Bam Bam noted that the large Majuba Hill Intrusive Complex can be divided into three zones - the Ti1 zone, which has a distinct, positive magnetic signature; the Ti2 zone, which is likely related to silica alteration which has been attributed to a phyllic alteration zone that outcrops on the top of Majuba mountain, and the KTi zone, which consists mainly of the surrounding granitic intrusive rocks with a remanent magnetic signature.
At the project, Bam Bam is currently exploring the known oxide mineralization, Majuba extension, and sulfide zones, which lay well within the Ti1 magnetic zone. Notably, the drone survey results indicate that these zones are much larger than Bam Bam had envisioned, while recent and historic drilling has been limited to a small portion of the Ti1 zone.
