Mode Global Holdings PLC (LON:MODE) has appointed Ryan Moore as its chief executive.
Moore is an early investor in the fintech business and, “has been closely involved in key strategic business decisions since inception”.
He joined from energy technology group Baker Hughes where he gained a decade’s worth of experience “scaling and leading large global teams, deploying novel technologies across new markets”.
Founder Jonathan Rowland will remain chairman, working closely with the new CEO.
“Ryan, whom I have closely worked with over the past few years, has unrivalled expertise in scaling a disruptive and rapidly-growing technology organisation, with a strong track record for delivering results,” said Rowland.
“Since listing on the LSE Main Market in October 2020, we've been successfully executing on our product expansion plans, and Ryan is well positioned to capitalise on this trajectory, hit the ground running and accelerate our path to become a leading player in the fintech arena."
The company has developed a mobile app that offers investors one of the easiest and safest ways to invest and hold Bitcoin and is building and Open Banking-powered payments and loyalty solution (expected to launch in Q2 2021).
