Sassy Resources Corporation (CSE:SASY) (OTCQB:SSYRF) announced that it has begun a Versatile Time-Domain Electromagnetic System (VTEM) survey on its 100%-owned Foremore Property located in British Columbia's prolific Eskay Camp.
The company said the high-resolution geophysics program, the first to be done at Foremore, will be carried out across the entire 146 square kilometre project and will include a high-sensitivity cesium magnetometer.
Sassy Resources noted that the VTEM system is capable of detecting discrete conductive anomalies and discriminate between moderate to excellent conductors, while also providing high-resolution electromagnetic data to depths in excess of 200 meters and up to 400 meters below surface.

Specifically, the VTEM survey will target the Westmore intrusive, mapping out in better detail its size, shape and orientation, where initial drilling last fall confirmed the presence of high-grade gold and silver mineralization.
The company added that Westmore targets are being prioritized for upcoming Phase 2 follow-up drilling.
As well, the survey will target the multi-kilometer-long More Creek Corridor, where volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) style gold-silver mineralization has been found.
And, the VTEM is also expected to further define the host lithology of the numerous precious metal and base metal association occurrences distributed within the Hanging Valley section of Foremore, while also providing a structural setting in order to develop drill targets.
The company said Hanging Valley features multiple precious and base metal showings occurring within an area at least 5 kilometres (km) north to south and 5 km east to west.
Sassy Resources is an exploration stage resource company currently engaged in the identification, acquisition and exploration of high-grade precious metal and base metal projects in North America. Its focus is the Foremore Gold-Silver Project located in the Eskay Camp, Liard Mining Division, in the heart of northwest British Columbia’s prolific Golden Triangle, and the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.
