Renforth Resources reports more drill results from Parbec expected to positively impact resource estimate

Four holes were reported in the statement and all returned 'gold values of interest', the company said

Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR) (OTCPINK:RFHRF) (FRA:9RR) reported yet more drill results from its 2020 Fall program at the flagship Parbec open-pit gold deposit in Quebec.

Four holes were reported in the statement and all returned 'gold values of interest', the company said.

Highlight assays included 7.03 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 0.5 metres (m) from 76.4m depth in one hole, which tested historic (1940s) reported mineralization.

Another hole, which was drilled on a section with no other holes present, yet with mineralization on each side, successfully hit mineralization with a highlight of 5.2 g/t gold over 0.45m from 86.9m depth.

The Parbec drill program was designed to fill in gaps within the existing deposit model, to test for the downdip extension of mineralized zones and to twin holes drilled between 1986 and 1993 to allow the assay results from those 62 holes to be used in the 2021 resource estimate, which is expected to be completed in June or July this year.

The drill program finished at 15,569m of drilling completed with assays for a total of 37 drill holes in both phase one (Fall 2020) and phase two (Winter 2021) still outstanding, Renforth said. In phase one, 9,644m were drilled.

Renforth's wholly-owned Parbec open pit constrained gold deposit sits on the Cadillac Break, adjacent to the Canadian Malartic mine - Canada's largest gold mine.
