American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) CEO Mark Jensen tells Proactive the group has been selected in a US Department of Energy National Energy Technical Laboratory contract as a consortium member to assess Northern Appalachian critical and rare earth elements. Jensen says together with Penn State who is leading the consortium, American Resources will assist the government with contributing resources and knowledge towards how to capture, process, and purify rare earths.
