Personal Group PLC (LON:PGH) chairman Mark Winlow is set to provide an upbeat commentary on current trading and prospects at the company’s annual meeting later Wednesday.
He will single out the potential of the employee engagement and wellbeing specialist’s Let’s Connect technology, its Sage platform and its Hapi app as well as hailing the introduction of new insurance sales roadshows.
Winlow will also tell shareholders that he believes the lockdown has delivered an unexpected upside.
In his final AGM address, he will say: “We believe our capability to sell insurance benefits via phone and video conferencing - methods originally developed in response to social distancing restrictions - is a great new addition to the business, which we will retain going forward. This will help us to acquire, retain and recapture policyholders in the longer term.
“I am also pleased to announce that we have secured significant Let's Connect and Insurance clients in the first few months of 2021.
“Similarly, our success with Sage has continued, with our platform currently delivering in excess of £1mln gross annualised recurring revenues. It represents an exciting mid-term opportunity.”
