Champion Iron Limited (TSX:CIA) (ASX:CIA) (OTCQX:CIAFF) CEO David Cataford tells Proactive the Quebec-based group is working to double its high-grade iron ore production to 15 million tonnes per year at its flagship Bloom Lake project.
The Phase II part of the project is expected to be completed by Mid-2022. Cataford says what's more, it recently acquired the Kami Project, located a few kilometers south-east from Bloom Lake, which will allow it to 'expand even more in the future.'
Cataford adds Champion Iron's management team has over 10% ownership within the company.
