88 Energy Ltd (LON:88E) has appointed Ashley Gilbert as the company’s new managing director.
Gilbert moves over from his position as 88 Energy’s chief financial officer and company secretary to replace Dave Wall who departs on May 10. Sarah Smith meanwhile takes up the company secretary role. She was previously acting company secretary between 2014 and 2020.
Last week, 88 Energy detailed a series of upcoming results and analysis from the Merlin-1 well.
A number of datapoints and reports are due in the coming weeks including core photography and geological descriptions, along with isotope analysis of mud gas, core analysis and fluid analysis.
All the findings will be integrated into a final petrophysical interpretation.
