Gaming Realms PLC (LON:GMR) said its shares will begin trading on the OTCQX Best Market in the US on Thursday under the ticker ‘PSDMF’ after the firm was upgraded from the Pink market.
The mobile gaming content developer said upgraded to OTCQX is “an important step” for the firms seeking to provide transparent trading for US investors, adding that its shares will also continue to trade on London’s AIM market.
WATCH: Gaming Realms remain focused on 'growing new global markets' and 'delivering on strategy'
"We are delighted to be admitted to the OTCQX, a development which reflects the increased demand and interest we have been experiencing from US investors as a result of our growth in New Jersey and successful partnerships with US gaming companies. Our quotation on OTCQX will significantly enhance our visibility in the US market and provide better access to prospective investors”, Gaming Realms executive chairman Michael Buckley said in a statement.
"Whilst the company continues to expand in the European regulated iGaming market, our principal focus is on increasing our foothold in the US and building on the success of our hugely popular Slingo games in New Jersey. We have an exciting pipeline of opportunities ahead, not least our imminent launch in Michigan, our second US State, whilst we are also progressing the application process for a licence in Pennsylvania", he added.
The news sent the companies shares up 4.4% to 42.8p in early trading on Thursday.
