TraceSafe Inc. (CSE:TSF) has revealed that its solution won the loT Award for IT Services during Singapore Business Review's (SBR) Technology Excellence Awards.
The solution, SafeSite, is a smart, safe and integrated worksite management system that uses smart sensing. Leveraging its integrations with existing systems such as resource planning, time & attendance, safety and project management, it automates health and safety protocols to ensure consistency in practice, invaluable during the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
For example, its SirenTag is worn by every individual to allow employees to maintain the necessary social distancing protocols and safety measures at work. It provides the flexibility to change-of-work processes as needed, and helps worksites comply with the Safety Management Measures (SMM), CDC guidelines, and government regulations.

TraceSafe integrates an IR scanner to take each person's temperature, detect if a mask is on, and make sure that workers are fitted with the proper PPE attire. In addition to biometric authentication, necessary for workers to move within the authorized work zones, contact tracing and physical distancing alerts are delivered by the wearable technology through haptic, audible, and visual feedback.
TraceSafe's platform provides employers with customizable, multi-level contact tracing reports, which include site, zone, and length of interactions between workers. This data-driven approach enables companies to minimize any safety measure lapses and yet improve efficiency at the worksite. The SafeSite solution also includes an application layer for work zone compliance, zone geofencing, asset tracking, and proximity alerts when too close to heavy machinery.
The company noted that it continues to innovate and co-develop solutions with industry players to provide greater peace of mind for truly holistic worksite safety. Aside from winning an SBR Technology Excellence Award, TraceSafe was recently recognized by Singapore deputy prime minister and finance minister Heng Swee Keat while presenting Singapore's national budget for the financial year for 2021.
