Wickes Group plc (LON:WIX) rejoined the London Stock Exchange as a standalone company on Wednesday after Travis Perkins PLC (LON:TPK) completed the demerger.
Alongside the demerger, Travis Perkins shareholders also approved the resolution to consolidate shares in Travis Perkins.

This was to maintain broad comparability, as far as possible, between Travis Perkins' share price before the demerger and after the Travis Perkins share consolidation, the retailer said.
The share consolidation is expected to take place after the market closes on Wednesday.
Both Wickes and the remainder of the business are enjoying bumper trading at present, as people use the Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdowns periods to go on a DIY and repair spree.
Wickes, which was last a listed company in 2000, saw like-for-like sales rise by 19.7% in the three months to end-March driven by digital and click and collect in spite of the closure of showrooms.
Shares in Travis Perkins tumbled 9% to 1,470.89p on Wednesday morning.
