Falcon Gold Corp (CVE:FG) (OTCPINK:FGLDF) (FRA:3FA) said it has created Falcon Gold LatamARG SA to manage the day-to-day operations and have a direct presence on the ground at its newly acquired Esperanza project in Argentina.
The company said LatamARG will be headed by country manager Juan Carlos Navas Diaz, a Venezuelan citizen with permanent residence in Argentina.
Falcon Gold noted that Navas is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, management, and operations in mining, and energy. He was country manager in Argentina for CruzSur Energy and president of Alianza Petrolera Argentina SA.

Currently, the company said Navas is responsible for the claim for mining rights of Chicanan East, West, and El Callao, located in the Bolívar state in Venezuela, which are the properties of Venezuelan companies handled by Grupo ValGold de Venezuela CA and Grupo Global Horizon CA where Navas is president and founding director since 2006.
"I'm pleased to welcome Mr. Navas to the Falcon Team,” said Falcon Gold CEO Karim Rayani In a statement. “Having a local presence in Argentina will help streamline operations as we prepare the necessary permitting to begin our first phase of exploration in the coming weeks."
Falcon Gold’s flagship gold mine project Central Canada lies 160 kilometres west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and has a 230,000-ounce historic resource at 9.9 grams per ton gold.
