MagicMed Industries Inc. confirmed that it has submitted an application to list its common shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange and has filed a preliminary prospectus in Alberta and British Columbia in an update to shareholders which also trumpeted the launch of the firm's new website: www.magicmedindustries.com
In the update, Dr Joseph Tucker, MagicMed's president and chief executive officer (CEO) said: "After many months of hard work and dedication from our team at MagicMed Industries Inc., we are pleased to announce the launch of our redesigned website! Our team worked closely with Brighter IR, a digital services agency tailored for publicly traded companies, to ensure that the website would help achieve core business initiatives and serve users, while representing the brand image strategically and effectively."
Tucker added: "Our new website offers users a clean layout, a simple navigation structure and user-friendly functions. Through this easy-to-navigate design, website users can learn about MagicMed, the Psybrary, PsyAI, partnerships and find investor relations information on a robust Investors Page. Most importantly, investors can utilize the new website to easily research MagicMed’s initiatives and contact MagicMed."

The CEO said the website is fully-equipped with the latest features for search engine optimization (SEO) which means it is strategically-equipped with the technology and best practices to rank higher in search engine queries for existing or potential users, like those on Google. The website will highlight all of its tools and resources available at the click of a button and make evident that MagicMed is making use of current and innovative technology.
Dr Tucker concluded: "We are thrilled to launch the new website and strongly believe it will serve as a useful, informative portal for partners, investors and community to grasp a better understanding of MagicMed and all that we can offer."
New recruits and presentations
The company also said it is actively recruiting new talent to enable and support the growing needs of the company and the development of its Psybrary and PsyAI drug discovery tool. It added that it is focused on recruiting for a number of scientific, investor relations, and business development positions.
Operationally, MagicMed said it is focused on the buildout of its Psybrary, implementing its PsyAI, expanding and strengthening its management and science teams, filing of additional patents, and ramping up of efforts to establish key biotechnology and pharmaceutical partnerships.

The company's CEO also noted that MagicMed has had several opportunities to share its story amongst its industry peers over the past month, including presenting on the “Micro-Dosing with Zeifmans” podcast, at the Sequire 2021 Cannabis Conference, and at the Planet MicroCap Showcase.
He pointed out as well that MagicMed is sponsoring the 2nd Annual SPAC Opportunity Summit and the company will be taking part in Shroomstocks.ca’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) event, which are both happening today, April 27, 2021.
