Great Bear Resources Ltd (CVE:GBR) (OTCQX:GTBAF) (FRA:0G6A) reported more good drill results from its LP Fault target in Red Lake, where the area of drill-defined continuous gold mineralization has been extended by about 25% in this year alone.
The assays from 13 holes hail from the ongoing fully-funded C$45 million exploration program at the Dixie project in Ontario.
The results continue to show excellent continuity of high-grade and bulk-tonnage gold mineralization at LP, which remains open in all directions. The holes all hit the fault from between 25 and 500 meters (m) vertical depth and along 1.7 kilometers (km) of strike.

"Predictability is a trait that builds first-class mineral deposits, distinguishing the 'best of the best'. With every week that goes by, we successfully expand and fill in the LP Fault zone precisely because of its impressive, predictable continuity," said Chris Taylor, CEO of Great Bear, in a statement.
Two 'step-down' holes extended mineralization by over 100m below previous drilling, with assays showing 11.18 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 6.75m from 524.2m to 530.95m depth in one hole.
In the other, 1 g/t gold was hit over a length of 96.10m from 477m to 573.10m depth. This included a high-grade intersection of 16.41 g/t gold over 2.40m from 485m to 487.4m depth.
Infill drilling within 75m and 100m in previously undrilled gaps in the zone also continued to deliver high-grade and bulk-tonnage gold intercepts. One hole hit 10.50 g/t gold over 13.1m from 313.20 to 326.30m downhole, while another hole hit 16.50 g/t gold over 6.25m from 365.00 to 371.25m downhole.
Great Bear has now released 283 drill hole results from the LP Fault and anticipates at least 117 more will be completed by the end of 2021, for a total of at least 400 holes.
Great Bear's flagship Dixie project comprises 9,140 hectares of contiguous claims that extend more than 22km. It sits about 25km southeast of the town of Red Lake, Ontario.
Research Capital repeats 'Speculative Buy'
Following the news, Research Capital Corp repeated its 'Speculative Buy' rating on the stock and C$36 a share target.
"We continue to be impressed with the ability of Great Bear to discover depth extensions (as expected) and continuity along strike of the LP Fault zone," said analysts.
"The deposit continues to demonstrate broad zones of "lower grade" (+1 g/t) and high-grade intercepts with some regularity (including multi-ounce intercepts).
"It is the combination of these two that makes the LP Fault zone a very valuable deposit, in our view, and enforces our opinion that it will become a world-class, multi-million ounce gold deposit."
Shares on the day added 0.89% in Canada to stand at C$14.75 each.
