Xigem Technologies Corporation (CSE:XIGM) (FRA:2C1), a tech provider for the huge and emerging remote economy, told investors that lawyer Avi Greenspoon has been appointed as the inaugural member of the company's newly established advisory board.
The new board will bring together members with a broad range of skills and experience to advise the firm on market and industry trends, with a focus on business development opportunities.
Greenspoon is currently the executive vice-president and general counsel of III Dune Capital Partners Ltd, before which he was partner at Goodmans LLP, a pre-eminent Toronto law firm, where he specialized in corporate and securities law. He has previously served as a director on a number of public company and non-profit boards.

Earlier this week, Xigem revealed that it had signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Israel-based Alperton Ltd, which does business as Shipit.to, to acquire a 21% interest in the digital logistics platform for US$1.1 million in a stock-and-cash deal.
