TNT Mines receives RC drilling results from four separate areas at Eureka Gold Project with resource update underway

A total of 89 holes for 11,441 metres were drilled at Eureka as Reids Ridge drilling continues.

TNT Mines Ltd (ASX:TIN) has received results from its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program designed to test four separate target areas at its 100%-owned Eureka Gold Project north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Drilling has now been completed for a total of 11,441 metres and 89 holes and all assays, excluding three holes drilled 800 metres south of the pit, have now been received.

TNT will now complete a reinterpretation of the existing mineralisation and prepare an updated resource estimate for Eureka in the coming weeks.

More than 2,000 metres of strike remains

Chief executive officer Matthew Boyes said: “These results from the northern high-grade area and the northeast extension at Eureka are very encouraging as little to no previous exploration has been carried out testing structures in those areas.

“The northeast area is of particular interest as more than 2,000 metres of strike remains untested.

“We are looking forward to having a rig back onsite in the coming weeks to follow up on those targets.

“In the meantime, Reids Ridge drilling is continuing, and we will be commencing an independent resource update for Eureka along with some updated optimisation numbers for the new Eureka resource.”

High-grade results

Results from the second half of the first pass program at Eureka include:

  • 4 metres at 10.99 g/t gold from 42 metres, including 2 metres at 19.2 g/t gold from 43 metres;
  • 6 metres at 4.17 g/t from 52 metres;
  • 1 metre at 14.72 g/t from 26 metres;
  • 2 metres at 6.13 g/t from 201 metres; and
  • 6 metres at 2.78 g/t from 114 metres.

Reids Ridge drilling

Additionally, Reids Ridge drilling is underway with target intersected in the first three holes, expected to be complete by the end of April.

Conditions have been difficult with several holes abandoned due to equipment failure and excessive deviation from planned targets.

Three holes to date have pierced the structure with visible gold encountered in RRRC0003 at 160-161 metres downhole directly adjacent to existing underground workings.

Laboratory assay results are required to determine the widths and grade of the visible mineralisation reported in preliminary geological logging.

TNT will update the market when laboratory analytical results become available.
