Silver Range Resources Ltd (CVE:SNG) (OTCMKTS:SLRRF) (FRA:8SR) announced it had acquired a new high-grade gold property in the Walker Lane trend of western Nevada.
The Opulent property in Lyon County hosts gold occurrences along a shear zone system consisting of two parallel structures, Silver Range said in a statement.
Grab samples from the property returned assays of up to 37.2 grams per ton (g/t) gold, while a chip sample across a shear zone exposure returned 2.9 g/t gold.

Six of the 24 samples collected during the staking process returned assays of more than 5 g/t, the company told investors.
Silver Range said that there is an “apparently unrelated” copper showing on the property that returned grab sample assays up to 10.9% copper, with minimal gold from a possibly older shear zone striking at a high angle to the gold-bearing shear zones.
The property is under-explored, according to the Vancouver-based company, with little in the way of documentation concerning past exploration or mineralization in the public record. But numerous exploration workings exist on the property, Silver Range added.
Samples were taken from Opulent in March 2021.
Silver Range is a precious metals prospect generator working in Nevada and Northern Canada. It has assembled a portfolio of 45 properties, 10 of which are currently under option to others and one has been converted to a paying royalty interest.
