Moho Resources confirms extensive gold mineralisation at Crossroads Prospect

The company plans to undertake follow up diamond drilling which is expected to provide vital information to plan future exploration in this sparsely tested part of the Yilgarn Craton.

Moho Resources Ltd's (ASX:MOH) is encouraged by results from maiden RC drilling at Crossroads gold prospect of the Burracoppin Project in the WA wheatbelt that show extensive gold mineralisation.

Best assays include:

  • 1-metre at 7.48 g/t gold from 92 metres in bedrock; and
  • 8 metres at 0.47 g/t from 51 metres in supergene.

Notably, the mineralisation (> 0.4 g/t gold) extends over 500 metres from north to south to the drilled depth of 80 metres and remains open to the north, west and at depth.

“Potential to host bedrock gold”

Moho managing director Shane Sadleir said: “We are very encouraged by the assay results from our first RC drill program at the Crossroads prospect.

“The presence of high grades within such a large mineralised zone supports the potential of the prospect to host significant bedrock gold mineralisation.

“Diamond drilling planned for early May will provide key information on structural, lithological and geochemical controls on bedrock mineralisation.”

Location of recent RC drilling showing mineralisation > 0.4 g/t gold and relationship between mineralised trends and gravity lows.

Next steps

A lithogeochemical review is underway, along with a review of first pass stream sediment sampling results over newly granted tenements E70/5154.

The company is also awaiting a petrological report on RC chips.

Diamond drilling is set to begin in May to follow up the mineralisation intersected in holes BCMH0064 and BCMH0062.

This will comprise three holes for 600 metres to identify controls on bedrock mineralisation and this is expected to provide vital information to plan future exploration in this sparsely tested part of the Yilgarn Craton.
