Esken Limited (LON:ESKN) has confirmed that it is in advanced discussions with Ettyl Limited for the sale of its shareholding in Stobart Air as well as Carlisle Airport, in response to press speculation over the matter.
The aviation and energy infrastructure firm said that while it is in discussions there can be no certainty that an agreement will be reached or that the transaction will conclude.

Esken said it will make a further announcement as and when appropriate.
Shares in the company were up 3.1% at 36.6p in late-afternoon trading on Monday.
