genedrive PLC (LON:GDR) said it has been included in a Public Health England framework agreement for diagnostic equipment and services.
The successful tender was made under Lot 1 of the National Microbiology Framework (Diagnostic Goods and Services).
genedrive said the said while the framework contract is not exclusive, nor is it a guarantee of orders, it does allow “participating authorities to issue call-off orders for products in the future”.
All of the company’s three CE-marked products fall within the framework agreement, investors were told.
Chief executive David Budd said: "We are very pleased to have received notice of this contract award decision and look forward to the opportunity to engage with PHE and relevant authorities on future potential contracts.
“This is an early notification of the decision and we will update shareholders when we have more information on what this contract may mean for orders and revenues".
