Sipa Resources non-executive director demonstrates faith in gold and base metals strategy with on-market purchase

The company is focused on exploration of its Murchison, Skeleton Rocks and Barbwire Terrace projects in Western Australia.

Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI) (FRA:SPO) non-executive director John Forwood has demonstrated his faith in the company’s gold-base metals strategy with an on-market share purchase.

Between April 5 and 11, Forwood acquired 92,672 shares in a direct interest, increasing the number of securities held to 231,560.

This follows managing director Pip Darvall’s purchases between March 26 and 29 of 155,176 shares in an indirect interest, increasing the total number of securities held to 663,779 shares.

First drill program at Murchison

The company is progressing exploration across its Western Australian tenement portfolio, testing multiple new gold and base metals targets.

Sipa has completed its first drill program for 2021 at the Murchison Gold Project farm-in and is gaining the necessary approvals and permits for additional drill programs.

The company has also identified drill targets at its Skeleton Rocks and Barbwire Terrace projects.

Additionally, several of Sipa’s WA tenement applications are expected to be granted in the coming months, including at the Warralong, Barbwire Terrace and Wolfe Basin projects, which will lead to additional activities on the ground in these areas.
