Chesnara PLC (LON:CSN) told investors that all remaining conditions for its acquisition of a Dutch insurance portfolio have now been fulfilled.
The transaction to acquire the Brand New Day Levensverzekeringen is now advancing to close.
"This marks Chesnara's fifth successful acquisition in the Netherlands since our initial purchase of the Waard Group in 2015,” said John Deane, group chief executive.

“The acquisition of the Brand New Day portfolio was agreed at the end of 2020 and the completion of the deal along with the migration of the data is testament to the excellent processes in Waard that ensure we deliver a smooth transition for the benefit of our customers, the regulator and other stakeholders."
It comes after the company, in March, increased its dividend whilst reporting a solid performance for 2020 in the face of Coronavirus (COVID-19) disruption.
Total funds under management closed higher at the end of December 2020 than the opening position, the pan-European group said.
