Predictiv AI on track to profit from a more predictable future using artificial intelligence

The company has been encouraged by internal sales activities for the ThermalPass fever detection system developed to help fight coronavirus (COVID-19)

  • Committed to artificial intelligence innovation
  • Focused on profitable fundamental-growth technology
  • Has launched its ThermalPass fever detection system to help stop the spread of coronavirus

What Predictiv AI does:

Predictiv AI Inc (CVE:PAI) (OTCMKTS:INOTF), formerly Internet of Things Inc, is committed to using its expertise to accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) innovation as it advances AI and machine learning solutions.

The Toronto-based company’s AI Labs Inc subsidiary is its research and development business arm, which uses artificial intelligence sensor-based technology solutions to solve real-world problems.

Predictiv AI also owns data-science company Weather Telematics Inc, which uses a vehicle-mounted mobile Internet of Things (IoT) sensor network and artificial intelligence system to generate historical, current and forecasted weather conditions for road hazard risk alerts.

In addition, the firm's has an 'Alert Fleet' system based on advanced artificial intelligence (AI), deep machine learning and data science. Once deployed in a vehicle, the product will run on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model, providing Weather Telematics with monthly recurring revenue proportionate to the number of vehicles within a customer's fleet.

The company has also developed ThermalPass, a fever detection system designed for public spaces during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which instantly screens for higher-than-normal body temperatures with an accuracy of 0.36 degrees Fahrenheit, thus identifying possible carriers of the disease. ThermalPass is capable of taking 480 temperature readings per second without encroaching on an individual's privacy or violating social distancing rules.

Predictiv AI is led by CEO Michael Lende, an entrepreneur and business start-up specialist, who launched the ZipCar car-share service in Canada in 2006, growing the Toronto-area membership from zero to over 42,000 and contributing to the parent company's successful IPO in 2011.

How is it doing:

In April 2021, Predictiv AI said it had entered into a consultancy agreement with F2 Factor in order to boost sales and increase Predictiv AI’s brand and product distribution, as well as provide strategic support services to the company’s leadership team. The company noted that F2 Factor is a leader in multichannel marketing, sales, and distribution, with a successful track record in helping businesses to build and execute their sales strategy.

Earlier in the same month, Predictiv AI announced that it had installed multiple ThermalPass temperature scanning devices at Memorial Healthcare System hospital facilities in south Broward County, Florida.

While during March, the company’s Weather Telematics Inc (WTX) subsidiary reported that it had formalized a strategic product integration partnership with commercial fleet technology company Propel IT Inc.

The new partnership is designed to significantly enhance the real-time road hazard data available to drivers and dispatchers. WTX's hyperlocal, advanced road weather hazard alert system warns drivers of impending dangerous conditions such as black ice, poor visibility and hydroplaning, the company said.

Previously, Predictiv AI announced that US-based visitor management solutions company Security Identification Systems Corp (SISCO) has signed on to sell the company’s ThermalPass screening devices in the US. To further assist with track and trace efforts, SISCO plans to pair ThermalPass with its Fast-Pass visitor management system, which provides additional security with photo and ID verification. The company will act as a channel distributor and market the product to its US customers in healthcare, commercial enterprises and government.

As well, MCL Sustainable Cleaning Solutions joined Predictiv AI’s ThermalPass program as a channel reseller and distributor to drive sales in the K-12 education, health care, hospitality, food service, commercial real estate, long-term care, and government sectors across Canada.

And, the company sold multiple units of its ThermalPass device to the First Nations Innus of Ekuanitshit community. The units will be placed in the group’s school, health centre, town hall and grocery store as part of a series of health and safety protocols being rolled out in the Quebec-based community.

Inflection points:

  • Accelerating sales growth for its ThermalPass technology
  • Additional agreements for the Alert Fleet system
  • Merger & Acquisition opportunities

What the boss says:

Commenting on the company’s sales agreement with SISCO, Predictiv AI CEO Michael Lende said in a statement: "We are pleased to expand our distribution network in the US through this new partnership with SISCO and look forward to entering some previously untapped markets."

Lende added: "In particular, the opportunity in maritime hospitality is very apparent and appealing to us. From early on in the pandemic, we were witness to all of the health, wellness, and safety issues that a number of crew and passengers experienced while at sea and trying to return home."
