Red River Resources Ltd (ASX:RVR) continued to ramp up production in Q3 FY21 at its Thalanga Operations in Queensland and Hillgrove Gold Mine in NSW.
At Thalanga, the company produced 3,068 tonnes copper concentrate, 6,959 tonnes zinc concentrate and 1,613 tonnes lead concentrate during the quarter.
Mining activities were stopped in the Far West mine from 27 March to 1 April for an investigation into a safety incident – however, there were no injuries or equipment damage.
The investigation was completed and mine production resumed on 1 April and has returned to normal.
During this period the process plant drew down on ore stockpiles held on the ROM pad to continue production.
Hillgrove Gold Mine
The Hillgrove Gold Mine continued to ramp up production during the quarter, with 667 ounces of gold produced in doré and concentrates from the Bakers Hill stockpile as part of Stage 1 operations.
Low grade ore was processed in January and February as the mill was brought online and gravity gold concentrate leaching commenced at the end of February.
The company has poured 261 ounces of gold (in doré) which has been sold, and the flotation concentrate produced to date contains 406 ounces of gold.
