PlantX Life Inc (CSE:VEGA) (OTCQB:PLXTF) (FRA:WNT1) said it has added perishable, refrigerated and frozen goods to its ever-growing selection of grocery items.
The company said its enhanced product offerings will include various plant-based brands, such as Beyond Meat, Impossible Foods, Miyokos, Follow Your Heart, Gardein, Tofurkey and Alpha Foods.
“Launching the new refrigerated and frozen product line is a natural and thrilling next step for PlantX,” PlantX Life CEO Julia Frank said in a statement.

“By adding such items, we are building on our efforts to create an online presence where customers can access a versatile range of high-quality products that meet their everyday needs,” Frank noted.
PlantX said the move will allow it to significantly increase its product assortment at its one-stop-shop for everything plant-based e-commerce platform.
The company also pointed out that new items are now available to order in the 'Frozen' and ‘Refrigerated’ sections of the company's US e-commerce platform, and will be available for shipping to Canadian customers later this year.
PlantX said it has partnered with a logistics provider that will deliver the new products from manufacturers to consumers' homes in an efficient manner, while utilizing temperature monitoring techniques to ensure freshness of the refrigerated and frozen items.
Vancouver-based PlantX styles itself as the digital face of the plant-based community with a one-stop destination for all things plant-based, like an online shop and meal delivery services. The online shop houses over 5,000 vegan products, and its recently-added meal service delivers chef-created dishes straight to the doors of Western Canada. All in all, the company offers more than 10,000 plant-based products.
In addition to offering meal and indoor plant deliveries, PlantX currently has plans to expand its product lines to include cosmetics, clothing, and its own water brand. It also offers a restaurant directory, unique recipes and a community forum to share plant-based ideas with other like-minded individuals.
