Empower Clinics Inc (CSE:CBDT) (FRA:8EC) (OTCQB:EPWCF) announced that it has appointed Kai Medical Laboratory President Yoshi Tyler to its board of directors.
With a professional and entrepreneurial background in healthcare, Tyler has more than 13 years of experience at Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE) (FRA:PFE), a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. That experience has provided her with the knowledge and industry insights to found and lead the Kai Medical Laboratory, the company said. Empower fully acquired Kai Lab in October 2020.

Kai Lab, located in Dallas, has developed a coronavirus (COVID-19) saliva test and processes more than 1,000 tests per day at its facility.
