The Global Palladium Fund (GPF) has listed sterling-denominated shares for its four physical-metal-backed exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) on London Stock Exchange.
GPF says the ETCs have the lowest charges in the European marketplace with total expense ratios ranging from 0.145% to 0.20%.
Targeting family offices, wealth managers, institutional and other professional investors, the gold, silver, platinum and palladium ETCs track the spot price of the respective metals they cover.
They were launched in January when issuer Ridgex listed them on Deutsche Börse and LSE. Further listings in Europe will be announced in due course, GPF said.

Chief executive Alexander Stoyanov added: “Our physically-backed metal ETCs aim to give investors the opportunity to invest in metals that have a key role to play in the transition to a net-zero carbon economy.
“The LSE GBP [Great British Pounds] listing means that UK professional investors can now access the products through platforms that prefer or only offer access to securities priced in sterling.”
Created by Norilsk Nickel, the diversified Russian mining giant, GPF is one of the first investment platforms to use blockchain technology, providing a further layer of encrypted security and electronic proof of ownership.
The fund works with NTree International, which advises ETCs and exchange-traded funds on strategy as well as helping them with distribution. It also provides investor education.
