Thor Mining starts field work at Ragged Range gold project in Western Australia

Gold grades of up to 2.2 grammes per tonne were previously reported from stream sediment samples

Thor Mining PLC (LON:THR, ASX:THR, OTCQB: THORF) said field work started at its Ragged Range gold project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

"After a lengthy wet season, we are excited to be back out in the field exploring the Ragged Ranges project,” said chairman Mick Billing.

“A number of gold targets have been identified from both previous geochemical programs and the airborne magnetic survey and we look forward to firming these up for the upcoming drilling program.”

The field programme consists of soil, stream sediment and rockchip sampling in conjunction with geological mapping. Gold grades of up to 2.2 grammes per tonne were previously reported from stream sediment samples
