American Battery Metals Corporation (OTCQB:ABML), soon to be called American Battery Technology Company (ABTC), announced that its COO Menka Sethi will speak at the US Energy Storage Association's (ESA) upcoming Virtual Energy Storage Conference & Expo.
The two-day conference to be held April 21-22, will focus on "The Storage Decade" and include discussions around the growing need to decarbonize the economy, the company said. Sethi will join other energy storage industry leaders in speaking at the event.
Sethi plans to discuss the company's closed-loop lithium-ion battery recycling platform that ABTC says has potential to benefit the energy storage industry.
"I look forward to sharing ABTC's mission and platform with our nation's policymakers, fellow members, stakeholders and industry leaders to amplify our combined recycling and extraction capabilities, as well as increase awareness about collaboration potential with energy storage providers," Sethi said in a statement.

"At ABTC, we are addressing the growing need for sustainable energy storage by scaling our proprietary lithium-ion battery recycling and extraction technologies to increase secure domestic production of critical materials using low environmental impact processes,” Sethi said. “Scaling these technologies and processes is critical if the US is to fulfil its goal of relying on sustainable energy and transitioning to alternative modes of green transportation, such as electric vehicles."
