Blackstone Minerals Ltd (ASX:BSX) (OTCMKTS:BLSTF) (FRA:B9S) major shareholder Wilhelm K.T. Zours and related entities including DELPHI Unternehmensberatung Atkiengesellschaft, Deutsche Balaton Atkiengesellschaft and Sparta AG have acquired 4,884,780 shares in the company during March-April 2021.
The entities now hold a total of 51,475,907 shares in the company for a voting power of 15.75%.
Hydrometallurgy specialist appointed
The company recently appointed highly-experienced hydrometallurgical engineer Tony Tang as general manager project development – Downstream, to drive the company’s plans to expand downstream refining capacity and technical capability.
Tang’s experience is invaluable to the immediate ambitions of Blackstone’s downstream business unit (DBU), which includes plans to attract customers, design and construct a pilot plant in Vietnam and to ensure Nickel: Cobalt: Manganese (NCM) precursor production meets battery-grade specification.
