Lithium Australia shareholders fully pay for 4.2 million LITCF shares raising another $210,096

In March, the company’s pilot plant was given the green light with preparations underway to test its unique LieNA® spodumene conversion process.

Lithium Australia NL (ASX:LIT) (OTCMKTS:LMMFF) (FRA:3MW) shareholders have fully paid the unpaid balance on 4,210,336 LITCF partly paid ordinary shares in the company, raising $210,096.

The shareholders paid an amount of $0.0499 for each LITCF.

Remaining LITCF shares

LIT is pleased that the shares have been fully paid and have, therefore, become fully paid ordinary shares in the capital of the company.

A total of 114,508,167 LITCF shares remain on issue.

The company has requested that the ASX change the designation of the 4,210,336 LITCF shares to the ASX code LIT.

Patent for VSPC proprietary cathode material

Lithium Australia’s wholly-owned subsidiary VSPC Ltd has received notice of acceptance for the patent application for its proprietary cathode material manufacturing process from IP Australia.

This notice of acceptance is for application P0018351AU, entitled 'Method for Making Lithium Metal Phosphates'.

The filing of the Australian patent application sets a worldwide priority date for the invention and provides 20 years of intellectual property protection within Australia.
