Rumble Resources’ speeding shares halted ahead of an exploration update

Rumble is targeting large tonnage, flat-lying, near-surface sandstone-hosted zinc-lead deposits at its Earaheedy Zinc-Lead-Silver Project in Western Australia.

Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) has entered a trading halt ahead of an exploration update and a response to an ASX price query.

The company’s shares surged about 29% today, before entering the trading halt.

Unless ASX decides otherwise, Rumble shares will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 8 April 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Zinc-lead and gold-copper exploration

Last month, Rumble commenced a 2,500-metre reverse circulation drilling program at Earaheedy Zinc-Lead-Silver Project in Western Australia targeting large tonnage, flat-lying, near-surface sandstone-hosted zinc-lead deposits.

Rumble’s zinc-lead exploration target at the Earaheedy Project is between 40 to 100 million tonnes at a grade ranging between 3.5% zinc-lead to 4.5% zinc-lead.

In February, Rumble welcomed strong assay results from the maiden drilling program completed by joint venture partner AIC Mines Ltd (ASX:A1M) (OTCMKTS:IAUFF) at Lamil Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia’s Paterson Province.

Results confirmed primary copper sulphide mineralisation with low-level gold and multi-element pathfinder anomalism.
